My alarm didn’t ring with a friend’s voice.
If nobody recorded you a wake-up, or it couldn’t be ready in time, your alarm still rings, with the Gelup ringtone. Check in the app that permissions (alarms, notifications) are turned on.
Does the alarm ring on silent?
Yes, even on silent with your phone locked. On iPhone before iOS 26, leave Gelup open at night: the app shows you how.
I didn’t get the text code.
Check the country code and number, wait a minute, then ask for a new code. If it still fails, write to us and tell us your country.
How do I add a friend?
Search their username, or allow access to your contacts to see who is already on Gelup. You can also send them your username from the app.
A wake-up I received is inappropriate.
Report it from the wake-up screen, and block the person if needed: they won’t be able to send you wake-ups anymore. We review every report.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Profile, then “Delete my account”. All the details here.
